2015 Pennsylvania Farm Show First Annual Cheese Competition:

The winning cheese makers (and cheeses) were featured on Opening Day of the 99th Annual Pennsylvania Farm Show. Awards were presented to Teri Jones of Giggling Goat Dairy, LLC.  The Dairy submitted 3 entries and was awarded 2 First Place Blue Ribbons and 1 Third Place Ribbon!

There are 100 licensed cheese makers in the State of Pennsylvania and each one was invited to submit up to three entries; there were 53 varieties submitted for consideration.  Cheeses were judged on technical and esthetic merits by America Cheese Society (ACS) certified judges and cheesemongers.

Class 13 Flavored Soft, Fresh Goats Milk Cheeses:
1st Place: Giggling Goat Dairy Fresh Garlic and Cracked Peppercorn
3rd Place: Giggling Goat Dairy Sun Dried Tomato & Jalapeno

Class 23 Feta Style (all milk types – cow, sheep, goat):
1st Place: Giggling Goat Dairy Feta
